IES El Tablero for Fair Trade

Our school has become the first school in Andalucia to obtain the certificate of “Schools for fair trade”. This certificate has been achieved thanks to the work that the school has done to spread the idea of the importance of fair trade and the school's adoption of fair trade products.

The school has organized informative sessions with students and a small stall selling fair trade products has been installed once a month during break time.

There was a ceremony on 6^th June were the school headmistress, Consuelo Serrano, received the certificate from the president of  IDEAS (an association working in favour of Fair Trade).

From the Comenius Project we want to express our support of these activities and will contribute to make the students even more aware of the importance of fair trade.
